Ecorche 2005

Second sculpture I ever made in my life. Like the first sculpture, also shown on the sculpture page, I spent 200 hours of hell on this sculpture, first sculpting the bones on top of which I sculpt the musculature. This one I chose to concentrate more attention on the muscles of the torso and limbs, leaving the skull without facial muscles, as my knowledge of portrait anatomy is already exemplary. This was sculpt using Richer's "Artistic Anatomy" as reference, under the guidance of Stephen Perkins at the Academy of Art University.
